User Guide
From first sign-in to an exportable dashboard
Follow the V1 workflow to connect authorized Pages, keep data current, and work with the analytics available from Meta.
- 1
Create or sign in
Create a FanpageDA account with email and password, confirm the account when required, then sign in.
- 2
Check V1 Beta access
During Beta, the Facebook account you use may need access to the FanpageDA Meta App.
- 3
Request access
Use the Beta access email action, provide the requested Facebook Profile ID or URL, and accept any invitation sent through Meta before trying again.
- 4
Connect Facebook
Open Connections and start the Meta authorization flow. Sign in to the Facebook account that manages the Pages you want to use.
- 5
Select authorized Pages
Choose the Pages that FanpageDA may access. Only select Pages you are authorized to manage.
- 6
Manage Connections
Review connected Facebook accounts, their linked Pages, shared Page relationships, and items that need attention.
- 7
Choose a dashboard
Open the Dashboard chooser. Select All Pages or a custom dashboard; FanpageDA does not automatically open the default dashboard.
- 8
Read the analytics dashboard
Review the connected Pages, selected metrics, period totals, and last-update information shown for the dashboard.
- 9
Sync now
Use Sync now to request the latest permitted Page and post data. Keep the page open while the operation reports progress.
- 10
Use date presets
Choose a preset such as 7, 14, or 28 days for a quick reporting window.
- 11
Request a custom historical range
Choose start and end dates when you need another period. FanpageDA may need to retrieve available historical data before showing the result.
- 12
Compare periods
Compare with the previous period or choose a custom comparison range to inspect changes.
- 13
Configure columns
Use Columns to choose and arrange the metrics relevant to the current dashboard.
- 14
Export CSV or Excel
Use Export to download the visible dashboard structure and reporting context as CSV or Excel.
- 15
Reauthorize Facebook
When FanpageDA reports that authorization is required, open Connections and reauthorize the affected Facebook account or Page relationship.
- 16
Respond to health warnings
Follow the action shown for authorization issues. For temporary, rate-limit, unknown, or active-operation warnings, wait or retry as instructed instead of disconnecting unnecessarily.
- 17
Troubleshoot or ask for support
Confirm that Meta permissions and Beta access are active, retry the relevant action, and contact support with the affected feature, description, and expected result if the issue continues.
